Job Title: Fitter's Mate
Location: Newry
Employment Type: Temporary (Potential to become permanent based on performance and attendance)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (36 hours/week)
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Fitter's Mate to support our showroom fitter. The role involves picking products, assisting with installations, and performing a variety of manual tasks, including heavy lifting, building display boards, and fitting out show-vans. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Main Duties:
- Picking and preparing products.
- Assisting the showroom fitter with installations.
- Heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Building and wrapping display boards.
- Stripping, painting, and fitting out show-vans.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license.
- Experience in warehouse or production environments.
- Good with hand tools and comfortable with manual tasks.
- Interest in DIY or joinery work.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
