A job opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Manager to join a highly established and rapidly expanding organisation that is based near Cardiff. This role will initially be a fixed-term-contract for 12 months, with the possibility to become permanent after this period.

The organisation is undergoing a period of digital and business transformation, so this role would suit a forward-thinking individual who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment during a period of change.

Your new role

You will take responsibility for leading the organisational change process and deliverables for transformation programmes to drive the adoption of new technologies. You will work closely with the implementation partner, project team and the wider business to help embed the communications and engagement framework, including a training programme to ensure the wider business fully understand and utilise the Organisational Change implications of this technology transformation.

You will be responsible for implementing the business change approach and strategy, developing project plans to drive organisational change and collaborating with the wider business to ensure all initiatives that align with the overall programme objectives are aligned.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience working as a Project Manager / Junior Project Manager / Business Change Analyst or similar role
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of leading communication and engagement projects/workstreams would be an advantage although it is not essential.
  • Experience of working within large/enterprise companies would be an advantage
