I am delighted to be supporting a multi-academy trust school to find a nurturing and dedicated EYFS teacher to join them on a permanent basis in September. The school is located just outside of central Doncaster, it is a fairly small school, with a higher-than-average pupil premium and were last rated 'good' on their Ofsted. The children are at the centre of everything this school looks to achieve. They aim to develop the whole child to prepare them for the next stages of their lives. The school highly value tenacity, empathy and curiosity so are looking for an individual that embodies these values and can apply them in every aspect of the school day.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and deliver a curriculum that focuses on learning through play, ensuring that it meets the needs and interests of all children.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages children to explore and learn independently.
  • Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and using this information to plan individual learning experiences.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through carefully designed activities.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and ensure a cohesive approach to child-led learning.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to further enhance teaching practice.

Who you'll be:

  • A holder of a relevant teaching qualification recognised for the EYFS setting.
  • Someone who has strong experience in an EYFS or early childhood setting.
  • An individual with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child-led learning approaches.
  • A person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
  • A creative educator with the ability to design a variety of play-based learning activities.
  • You'll have a strong commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of all children.
