Are you seeking a term-time only position that offers both long and short-term assignments in the vibrant educational sector of London? We are on the lookout for immediate starters who possess exceptional administration skills and thrive in a school environment. While previous experience in school admin support is advantageous, it is not essential.
Day to Day of the role:
- Provide administrative support to all members of the school team, contributing to a common goal.
- Maintain a respectful and supportive interaction with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, upholding the school's commitment to safeguarding.
- Manage reception duties, including handling enquiries and welcoming visitors.
- Perform data inputting tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prioritise workload effectively to meet the demands of a busy school environment.
- Engage in written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism.
- Utilise ICT skills to maintain records and manage school databases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Methodical, well-organised, and able to work accurately.
- Confidence with figures and good ICT skills.
- Ability to relate well with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Sensitivity, understanding, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to undertake Reed Safeguarding training (approximately 15-20 minutes online course).
- An Enhanced DBS check will be required (assistance with the application provided).
