Full-Time HLTA Opportunity in Pontefract
Accelerate Teaching is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across Key Stage 1 (KS1) for a primary school in Pontefract. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is looking for a new challenge and has prior experience as an HLTA, possibly in KS2 and/or relevant qualifications. This role is to start as soon as possible and will continue until December 2024.
As a KS1 HLTA, you will be pivotal in supporting teachers and students across Year 1 and Year 2. Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted interventions, leading classes during teacher absences, and contributing to the overall learning environment by providing additional support where needed. You'll work closely with teachers to plan and implement lessons, ensuring that each child receives a tailored educational experience that meets their needs.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working within the UK education system, demonstrating a deep understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for enhancing student achievement. Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage a range of responsibilities are essential.
