We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Humanities/Social Sciences to join our team at a popular secondary school in Bracknell. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about the Humanities curriculum and eager to contribute to the development of our students as they grow to question the world around them. The successful candidate will be joining a team that values close collaboration and has a shared love for teaching Humanities/Social Sciences.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated Humanities/Social Sciences curriculum.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Tutor.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that enables students to accelerate their learning.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment across the school.
- Share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
- Experience of working in a school setting is essential.
- A commitment to engaging and inspiring young people in their learning of Humanities/Social Sciences.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
