Position: Part-Time Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will be the primary financial authority, overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the company's financial health, and providing strategic financial guidance to the senior management team. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
  • Produce periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management team to support business growth and profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage payroll, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of financial management software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the construction equipment industry is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Part-time, 24 hours. Tuesday to Thursday in office.
