Sandwich, Kent – 5 days on site
8am – 4.45pm

As a Quality Technician for a forward-thinking precision Engineering business, you will assist and support the quality team through the inspection and testing of materials, components and finished products with a focus on consistent continuous improvement
This role is ideal for an Engineering professional with some experience working in a Quality role, looking for further experience within a company where growth and career development can be facilitated
Duties include:
- Perform quality inspection and fault identification to support the introduction of new products.
- Investigate quality issues to implement new procedures.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated according to production schedule.
- Support quality engineers with new product introduction and continuous improvement activities during busy periods.
- Any other duties required.
The successful Quality Technician will have :
- Experience working within a Quality related role within Engineering
- Ideally some knowledge of precision engineering processes
- The knowledge to interpret engineering drawings to confirm inaccuracies.
- Previous experience inspecting parts using measuring equipment, e.g. micrometres, calipers, gauges etc.
- Previously been involved in an audit
- An energetic, positive approach to work with the desire to progress long term
