Position Overview:
The Commercial Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the FP&A team through the ownership and maintenance of key reports, with a focus on providing insights and recommendations. This is a collaborative role where the successful candidate will work closely with various departments, to analyse financial data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain a set of core reports and produce the various outputs at the defined intervals.
- Key reports include (but are not limited to) sales commissions, new business, churn & leakage, and work in progress.
- Analyse and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights, highlighting risks and making recommendations.
Data Management and Improvement:
- Maintain and improve financial databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and implement processes and system controls to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Provide support to non-finance areas of the business.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with BI tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Salary and Package:
- £45-50,000
