Job description:
- Undertake the intravenous administration of all diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals and drugs used in the practice of Nuclear Medicine as prescribed in the legislation and SOPs
- Be accountable for the adherence to all SOPs. Respond to scheduling demands from patients and referrers for all nuclear medicine studies in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Assess patient and referrer requirements and adapt procedures (in consultation with clinicians) to ensure individual needs of each patient are met.
- Take responsibility for patient consent, identification and relevant clinical details is obtained prior to commencement of imaging, in accordance with Trust and professional legislation.
