Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a local School with the recruitment of an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Location: Bradford
Start date: September 2024 (or sooner subject to reference and DBS checks)
Your responsibilities will include,
- Providing high quality HR support in accordance with the 'People First' strategy
- Delivering outstanding customer service to key stakeholders
- Responsible for new starter checks, and maintaining a compliant SCR in line with statutory requirements
- Assisting with the process of recruitment, vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
- Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries
- Use of Microsoft programmes including Word, Excel and Powerpoint to create notices, spreadsheets, and record correspondence
- Monitoring long-term sickness, leave, and supporting colleagues with return to work
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records
- Project work and data entry
What we're looking for,
- Experience in a similar role in education is preferred but not essential, provided you have transferrable HR experience
- A highly motivated individual with strong communication and organisational skills
- Someone who can work collaboratively and independently
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (we can support applicants with this if a check isn't held)
