Design and Technology Technician

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology Technician to join a dynamic team. As a key member of the department, you will provide essential support across various aspects of design and technology education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools, machinery, and equipment used in design and technology classes.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
- Materials Management: Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and managing resources for practical lessons.
- Student Support: Support teachers and students during practical sessions, providing guidance and troubleshooting.
- Workshop Assistance: Assist in the preparation of materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient workshop space.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in design and technology (e.g., engineering, woodworking, metalwork).
- Familiarity with workshop tools, machinery, and health and safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
