Day to Day as a Paint Technician / Detailer:
- Ensuring the highest standard of vehicle repairs to manufacturers specifications.
- Ensure work meets customer expectations and is completed to their satisfaction.
- Ensure the maintenance and security of all tools and equipment.
- Mentor and coach other Technicians.
- Ensuring high workshop housekeeping standards, mindful of cross contamination.
Requirements:
- Experienced Paint Technician.
- Knowledge of Automotive systems (e.g. basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts) and parts requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturer paint repair processes, paint products, features, uses and limitations.
- Demonstrable professional and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to distinguish minor colour discrepancies and differences and identify and resolve any paint defects in the paint.
- Customer Orientated.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Focus on continuous improvement and successful results.
