Management Accountant

About The Role

Trinity House Group are recruiting exclusively for a small / medium sized agency within the Birmingham area. Whilst the core responsibilities of this role are Financial, this role does also include reporting and analysis on a weekly, monthly and annual basis, to help drive company performance, as well as some more general office duties.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Production of management accounts - monthly
  • Month end reporting including balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and journals for wages / controls / accounts
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and communicate to relevant stakeholders effectively
  • Ensure effective commercial support to deliver key operational, commercial and financial targets
  • Produce weekly flash reports
  • Identify and drive financial efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Lead on ensuring the office is compliant with relevant legislation and H&S measures
  • Support new joiners on boarding process
  • Equipment / license management

About You

Previous finance environment experience is essential in this role, as are proven abilities with Excel (VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs & PivotTables as a minimum).

Hours

Full time hours for this role are 08:30am - 5.00pm and reduced hours during school holidays 8:00am - 3:00pm. We are also open to part or school time hours for this role depending on experience and offer the option of hybrid working.
