Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an RMN specialising in community psychiatry, your role will be pivotal in providing patient care:
- Conducting regular visits to patients within the community to assess and address their needs.
- Administering prescribed medications at scheduled intervals to manage patient conditions effectively.
- Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, facilitating efficient support and monitoring progress.
- Performing risk assessments as necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being throughout their treatment.
Requirements: To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a mental health nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in community-based psychiatric care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and support.
