About the role:

Created through an internal move, and reporting to the Account Director, you will lead and develop a team of Retail Managers and staff across a number of the Luxury ships to deliver revenue and customer satisfaction targets. You will develop Cruise Line (CL) relationships both on board and ashore, ensuring operating practices are met and any contractual obligations are fulfilled on board.

Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis – 2/3 days per week (with regular national and international travel)

Compensation – competitive salary, car allowance, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)

What you will be doing:

  • Revenue review and report result of KPI metrics, including category performance. Prepare annual revenue and overhead budgets in line with company requirements
  • People – lead, develop, and coach Retail Managers and teams via performance reviews in collaboration with HR / Scheduling
  • Operational – ensure the implementation and execution of all company operating policies and procedures, including Retail Operations, marketing, Profit Protection, IT, Finance, and Cruise Line best practices. Collaborate with internal depts on product assortment, sales performance, opportunities, and stock levels

About you:

  • Proven multi-site or remote retail management experience, including working with premium / luxury brands
  • Strong leadership skills and qualities, with a desire to develop and improve your team's output
  • Target driven and competitive, but within a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work at pace in a very busy organisation and industry
  • Adaptable and welcoming of change, offering suggestions for improvement where possible
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK, with a valid passport and driving licence
