Are you a visionary leader with a passion for excellence in cancer care?

We are seeking an exceptional Divisional Director of Nursing for Cancer to lead our cancer services across some of the most respected healthcare sites in the region, including the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) in Brighton, Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) in Haywards Heath, Worthing, and St Richards in Chichester. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to shape the future of cancer care within our organisation, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic direction of nursing care in cancer services, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and the latest clinical standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with divisional and site leaders to ensure seamless integration of services and best practices across all locations.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Uphold the highest standards of patient care, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual needs.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all services meet regulatory standards and lead on the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain excellence in care delivery.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: RegisteredNurse with full NMC registration, desirable management qualification or additional short course or experience at doctorate Level
  • Experienced Leader: A proven track record in a senior nursing leadership role, preferably within cancer services.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, with experience in driving change and improving patient outcomes on a large scale.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Compassionate Advocate: A passion for patient care, with a deep commitment to improving the lives of those affected by cancer.
