Job Summary
We are seeking a Gardener / Groundsman to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions. This role involves a mix of garden maintenance tasks and small-scale landscaping projects, ensuring that our clients' gardens look their best throughout the season. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine garden maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting.
- Assist with day to day running of our projects
- Ensure all gardens are kept tidy, healthy, and visually appealing.
- Identify and treat pests, diseases, and other garden issues.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the Bexhill Gardening team to achieve project goals.
Preferred
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture desirable.
- Knowledge of local plants, flowers, and gardening techniques.
- Ability to operate various gardening tools and machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full Uk driver's license.
