Lecturer in Travel, Tourism and Aviation

A college in Nottingham is seeking a Lecturer in Travel, Tourism and Aviation to start as soon as possible. This temporary role involves 11 hours per week, spread across Monday to Wednesday, with the contract running until at least 18th December, with a possible extension.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Travel, Tourism, and Aviation.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic records and participate in curriculum development.
- Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in their studies.
- Ensure compliance with college policies and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Level 3 qualification in Travel and Tourism or equivalent.
- A recognised Teaching Qualification.
- DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for teaching and the subject matter.
