Placement and Rotations Co-ordinator

We are seeking a Placement and Rotation Coordinator to support our team with the management of student programme placements and rotations. This role involves processing information using appropriate systems, liaising with students and colleagues and providing first-line advice and guidance. The successful candidate will ensure that staff and students experience an excellent learning and teaching environment.

Role is to start in September through to the end of February '25, with a potential of going permanent.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Accurately process student placement and rotation bookings and record outcomes using the appropriate systems.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve anomalies and be a key point of contact for general queries, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Explain processes to students and staff, being responsive and proactive.
  • Liaise with students, staff, and external organisations to effectively resolve placement and rotation queries.
  • Maintain and update relevant student information.
  • Plan and prioritise workload, liaising across teams to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Triage and escalate queries as required to the Placements and Rotations Manager.
  • Provide cover for team members during peak workload demands and absences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of placement and rotation regulations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Competent in liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and using initiative.
  • Flexibility to cover various tasks as needed within the team.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
