THE ROLE
A Head of Finance - Transformation opportunity based in the West Midlands. Reporting to the FD, the role will be the finance lead for the Value Management Office (VMO) which leads the governance around all transformation activities across the Group. As a senior member of the Finance Team, you will be working closely with the Head of VMO and the Exec Leadership Team providing financial and business insight to help scope, prioritise, implement, and track a range of change initiatives across corporate functions and business units.
The role is critical in ensuring the business meets its strategic objectives and deliver the Full Potential Plan through evaluating and monitoring investment proposals, tracking and analysing ongoing investments and projects, as well as supporting and challenging BAU corporate/ functional spend.
Given the close relationship between the Transformation agenda and Technology, you will manage the financials of the Technology BAU budget with the support of your team. You will also be managing the financials around efficiency initiatives in pursuit of a company wide set of margin and EBITDA improvement plans, as the business works towards the next sales event.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
For this Head of Finance - Transformation opportunity in the West Midlands you must be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with broad finance experience. Experience across business partnering and FP&A will be beneficial
You will need to have demonstrable experience of transformation. Ideally working in another fast-pace, high growth, change environment and with a broad range of stakeholders. Excellent relationship management skills will be important
Experience of project management (including good project reporting) across technology related investments will be critical
Excellent leadership, influencing and teamwork skills across non-finance professionals
High impact communication and presentation skills and to be comfortable challenging the status quo
A good balance of strategic vision and hands on operating style to consistently deliver progress in a non-hierarchical organisational structure
Based in the West Midlands, hybrid working will be considered
