Hybrid - 1 day in the Bedford office per week
This additional development resource will work with the Data and Reporting teams to design and build a new solution using Snowflake. The resource will complement the existing team but bring a greater level of experience to the team for the duration of the project.
Skills Required:
- The ideal candidate will have skills in Snowflake and MS SQL and be proficient at designing, data modelling and building an end-to-end data solution.
- A self-starter, proactive, able to conduct some investigation and understand complex business requirements, translating those into to an appropriate solution design.
- They will need to be and effective communicator with the project team and seek other input into a solution design from SMEs across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Data preparation using SQL (MS SQL Server, Snowflake).
- Solution design and data modelling.
- Testing - Unit testing, User Acceptance Testing with stakeholders with any remediation.
- Documentation and code management.
- Requirements gathering - Investigation into existing data/reporting solutions where necessary.
- Stakeholder engagement - Effective communication to understand the business rules.
