Salary: £29,286.00
Full time / 35 hours per week
12 month Fixed Term Contract

An exciting opportunity has been created in our Housing Management and Support Service for a Tenancy Support - Hoarding Officer. Our terms and conditions are good and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme and 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 days.

Working as part of the Tenancy Support Team, the successful candidate will be:

  • Supporting Tenants and Residents of Greater Manchester with hoarding issues as part of the Tidy Homes Tidy Minds Service
  • Assessing properties using Clutter Image Rating Tool and writing reports to referring agents
  • Offering practical 1-1 support in homes to declutter and organise
  • Using a trauma informed approach to identify contributing factors
  • Keeping accurate records of interventions, liaising with partner agencies and attending meetings/training representing Southway Housing Trust and Tidy Homes Tidy Minds
  • Recognise and respond to Safeguarding, Self-Neglect and Hoarding issues

We are looking for someone passionate about improving the customer's journey, who is engaging, adaptable and able to work in a person centred and trauma informed way. The right candidate will be able to self-manage, prioritise their workload and work under minimum supervision and meet targets. In addition, the right candidate must be a team player who can meet the needs of the teams' diverse customer base.
