Permanent Full Time Role – Hybrid Working
I am currently working with a market leader within the media industry, who are looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to work alongside a team of 7 finance professionals. You will have previous Accounts based experience and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. In return you will gain full exposure and involvement in all aspects of accounts. This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic Trainee wanting to reach their full potential and develop internally in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase and sales invoices
- Assist in and perform the daily bank reconciliations
- Update spreadsheets and databases e.g., Sales trackers
- Get involved with important month-end and audit duties
- Expenses
- Supplier Reconciliations
- Any ad hoc duties
Person Specification:
- Minimum 1-year accounts-based experience.
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic attitude with a long-term desire to work in finance
- Ability to work as part of a team but also using your own initiative
