Our client and role

Our client is a highly sought after online retail brand, with a focus on beautiful products, and they are now looking for a Head of Creative to drive the creative strategy forward. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly experienced team, with big ambitions and lots of growth ahead.

This is a pivotal role where you will be the brand guardian of creative and visual output and work with all functions across the business. You will refine their approach to content, encompassing photography, illustration, animation, video and all whilst complementing the written word- ensuring the creative delivery is distinct and recognisable.

We are looking to speak to candidates who have experience within homewares or interiors.

Role objectives

  • Leading the in-house creative team, to continually refine the visual identity, and interpret and develop highly commercial assets
  • Developing approach to typography, colour, texture, material, composition and form, bringing a highly intentional approach to all creative decisions-no matter how small
  • Ensuring they are delivering a brand-driven digital experience, working closely with the product, brand and ecomm teams to ensure it is beautiful and meticulously consistent with the vision
  • Ensuring creative briefs are purposeful and reflective of brand identity, and managing execution to ensure consistency and commercial success
  • Oversee creative of digital marketing assets, collaborating with all agency and marketing teams
  • Staying on top of the latest in interior, decor, photography, design and post production techniques and developments, and successfully applying them to work practices to help improve BAU and studio processes and procedures

About you

  • You have experience in defining and delivering the big picture creative strategy, but equally be comfortable being very hands on
  • You are passionate about impeccable design: you believe good design can change behaviours and the lives of our customers
  • You have experience leading, developing, managing, and inspiring creative teams with demonstrated success
  • Current or previous experience within homeware/design/interiors
