HR Advisor

A global investment management firm are looking to hire an experienced HR Advisor to join their fast-growing London office on a standalone basis. The HR Advisor will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll processes, and daily HR administrative tasks. This is a fixed term contract for one year which, for the right candidate, could become permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Working with compliance to ensure the company meets its obligations
  • Developing programmes that enhance employee relations
  • Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits (holiday, sick and maternity pay)
  • Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team
  • Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
  • Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations
  • Recording and processing confidential information
  • Recording payroll data in the company's software system
  • Issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms
  • Answering employee questions about payroll
  • Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
  • Deducting tax and national insurance payments

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within financial services is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, predominantly Excel
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • BSc or relevant degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR legal requirements.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
