This fast-growing company is focused on providing sustainable and affordable housing solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Inspector to join their team and help them achieve their goal of revolutionising the housing industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries
- Work with other departments to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and procedures
- Provide QHSE training to employees and contractors to ensure they understand and adhere to company policies
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain QHSE management systems to ensure continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field - preferred but not essential
- At least 5 years of experience in QHSE
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Experience in conducting audits and investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Construction is essential.
- Certification in QHSE management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is an asset
