SEO Manager

As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of our SEO strategy and roadmap, aimed at driving reach, relevant traffic and conversions. You have experience in defining and delivering a robust strategy for both reallymoving and The Law Superstore, and lead a small in-house SEO & content team.

As the SEO Manager, you'll have strong experience of ideating and delivering an on-page and off-page SEO strategy and have the ability to interpret data to draw insights and analyse performance.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, moving from idea to implementation and are data-led with a good understanding of how SEO and content impacts commercial outputs. You have experience working with other digital marketing teams such as PPC and CRO, and sharing insights and recommendations to improve our overall Search Engine Marketing efforts and grow efficiency in marketing spend.

What You Will Own

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Own, develop, drive and execute the Technical, On Page and Off Page SEO strategy, prioritised towards hitting ambitious growth KPI targets and OKRs across reallymoving.com and The Law Superstore
  • Plan and implement various content improvements and page optimisations across both websites (titles, descriptions, headings, on-page copy, images, etc.) and track performance and impact
  • Run regular competitor and content audits (both quantitative and qualitative), developing prioritised recommendations for implementation and project managing these through to completion
  • Leverage tools and resources to consistently monitor market and competitor trends, to help inform further optimisations
  • Identify, curate and manage organic keyword portfolios for both websites
  • Lead and deliver cross-functional campaigns, to earn links with quality content, growing brand awareness and bringing qualified traffic to the websites
  • Lead and motivate your team in data-driven research, ideation, and content creation, and be able to track and share performance to the senior team
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that SEO efforts are appropriately harmonised with Paid Search for maximum growth efficiency via Search Engine Marketing
  • Creation of clear requirement documentation that web developers can easily understand and digest

Skills, knowledge and abilities

  • Customer-centric mindset, prioritising audience needs in the SEO strategy
  • SEO reporting and analytics to feed insights and analysis back into the strategy
  • Passion and deep knowledge of current and emerging SEO trends including AI, SGE and EEAT
  • Significant hands-on experience with on/off-page SEO with a toolkit of proven link acquisition methods
  • Proficiency across various SEO analytics tools, platforms and technologies, including GA4, Google Search Console, Data Studio and SEMRush
  • Experience working within CMS platforms (Umbraco & Kentico)
  • Experience collaborating cross-teams at all levels, including PPC, CRO, Tech, Sales and Product
  • Solid experience and proven track record of SEO campaigns and projects
  • Advanced understanding of Google Algorithms
  • Effective project and stakeholder management skills with a focus on delivering outcomes
  • Team leadership skills, including mentoring, training, upskilling and motivation
  • Critical thinking - highly analytical, able to own, diagnose and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
