Structured Cabling Engineer contract in Swindon
DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced structured cabling engineer in Swindon on behalf of a national client.

Dates: Wednesday 9th October 2024
Duration: 1 x night - ad hoc
Location: SN2 postcode area
Working up to 8 hours on night shifts, starting 7pm
Responsibilities and desired experience:
- Installation of data cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing various structured data cabling - CAT5/5E, CAT6/6A, CAT7 - and equipment such as APs and EPOS systems
- Installation of relevant containment in a commercial, retail setting
- Safe provision and use of own hand/power tools, and termination kit
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent data cabling/comms industry related card
- Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for cabling at high level
- Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
- Be able to provide relevant work references prior to start
You must hold a valid UKATA asbestos awareness certificate to be fully compliant for these attendances, though this can be done online prior to start.
