Business Support Coordinator

As a Business Support Coordinator you'll be working within our Operational Procurement teams, you will be responsible for supporting the entire line of business in all aspects of Governance. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on Procurement Leadership team as you support them.

This role predominantly home based, with travel to our Salford office twice a month and where business needs are required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support on various boards for actions and minutes ensuring the teams involved follow up and complete.
  • Handling all Procurement Leadership Team meetings ensuring they are organised, minuted and actions taken and completed.
  • Management of the Procurement Directors travel, diary and any other requirements.
  • Supporting in the successful administration of our Enhanced Purchase 2 Pay and Commercial Delivery Partner services.
  • Supporting in senior management meetings making sure clear minutes and actions are taken and shared.

What you'll bring:

  • IT Literate with proficiency with MS Packages Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Working experience of a busy administrative role in an office environment.
  • Excellent organisation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confident communication and social skills with the ability to present in front of a large senior audience.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience with diary management and/ or booking travel systems.

It would be great if you had:

  • Procurement experience
  • Public Sector experience
