A well-established construction contractor are looking for a new Marketing and Content Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketeer to take the reins of all things marketing within the business, with future plans to grow and lead a marketing team.
Your day-to-day will include a mix of strategy and hands-on, including creating written and creative content, conducting market research, digital marketing and event preparation and attendance. You will have full autonomy to implement, monitor and report on your own strategic ideas, reporting directly into the Managing Director.
About You:
- An established marketeer, with both marketing strategy and hands on experience.
- Good digital marketing foundation across website, SEO, social media and email marketing.
- Experience in content creation, both written (blog posts, articles etc) and creative (Canva, Adobe etc).
- A confident communicator who's comfortable working autonomously, implementing and reporting on marketing strategies.
- Ideally previously helped manage and attended tradeshows, exhibitions, events etc.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Taking a strategic approach to marketing, implementing ideas designed to increase engagement and generate leads.
- Producing both written and creative content, for use across print, brochures, social media posts and emails.
- Conducting market research across competitors and desired customer audience.
- Day-to-day social media management across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- SEO management on a new website and increasing SEO ranking to generate leads.
- Producing progression reports and conducting analysis.
- Day-to-day website management and content uploading on WordPress.
- Event preparation, execution and attendance.
Where You'll Be Based:
Your office will be based in outer Chesterfield, and commutable from Chesterfield, Mansfield and Worksop. This is an office-based role, so being able to commute 5 days per week to the office is important.
