The Role

  • Develop and implement new features for browser and mobile applications with a focus on responsive design.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code in JavaScript (ES6), Typescript (3+), CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Enhance the UI framework with reusable, scalable code.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and optimal user experience.
  • Utile and integrate existing technologies across a variety of projects, while staying open to adopting new innovations.
  • Advocate for best practices in front-end development and contribute to the design of high-quality solutions.

Skills required

The team is made up of other Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, UX/UI and Testing professionals. You'll work collaboratively to:

  • Advanced proficiency in Typescript, Javascript and frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
  • Strong grasp of web design principles using HTML5 and CSS3/4.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and a solid approach to testing (unit, end-to-end, integration).
  • Desirable skills include familiarity with VueJS 2, JSX/TSX, SASS/SCSS.
  • Knowledge of modern technologies like React (Hooks), Playwright, Jest, LitJS, and Storybook is advantageous.

Progression isn't a one size fits all approach, to one person this might mean climbing the ladder into management and to another this might mean broadening their tech stack and trying something new. There will be a tailored progression plan put in place that meets your needs and it will flow at a pace that suits you.

The overall package:

  • A salary of up to £50,000 with yearly pay rises / reviews
