Student Support Officer- Operation and Visa Compliance

Location: Huddersfield, Huddersfield International Study Centre

Salary: up to £23,424.63 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support student record management and assessment processes. This is a fast-paced environment, and the successful applicant will have excellent attendance to details as they will be required to ensure the accuracy of students' records and possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team in an international environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Support the Student Experience Coordinator in exam planning, preparation, and management of examination papers.
  • Assist in ensuring student results are recorded by deadlines and maintaining students' progression records.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including student induction preparation and enrolment processes.
  • Ensure student files are recorded on required platforms and that student details (e.g., contact, visa, passport, sponsorship) are up to date on central databases.
  • Work with the Student Experience Coordinator to ensure compliance with all student information and visa monitoring requirements.
  • Handle general student enquiries, fee payment deadlines, and related enquiries.
  • Produce student letters, order stationery and catering, and support student social activities and field trips as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of student attendance monitoring processes during peak times.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum standard of education demonstrated by GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent/higher qualifications.
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Working in a fast-paced pressurised office environment
  • Experience of working in customer facing role (Desirable)
