Are you a recently qualified or experienced Teacher looking for a new role in a specialist school in Wolverhampton?

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring Class Teacher who has experience in teaching children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The role will be a Full-time position starting in September 2024.

The school are an Ofsted-rated 'Good' specialist primary school committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. They strive to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel safe and supported.

As a Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons centred around pupil engagement and development, inclusive of all needs and abilities.
  • Create opportunities to develop the social, emotional and cultural aspects of pupils' learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to cater to each child's unique needs.
  • Manage behaviour expectations, and implement behaviour policies in line with the school.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher, or a relevant degree.
  • Successful teaching experience in either primary or secondary schools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEN and SEMH
  • A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school
  • Emotional robustness, flexibility and adaptability
