Travel Product Manager Escorted Tours and River Cruises
Base Salary to £43,000 + Bonus and Great Benefits

Our client is one of the UK's leading river cruise and tour operators who have won several awards.
Established for over 50 years, they offer specialist selected bespoke high end river cruises and escorted tours to worldwide destinations selling both through the travel trade and directly to consumers.
Due to growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced travel product manager with extensive knowledge of the escorted tours and river cruises market.
The travel product manager will be predominately responsible for managing the product content, and negotiations with suppliers for the existing tours and identifying new opportunities.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2/3 days remotely based and office based in Staffordshire
Travel Product Manager Escorted Tours and River Cruises Responsibilities:
Owning the strategy for the Specialist product area with support from Heads of Product.
Influence colleagues in Sales and Marketing with regards to the Solo, Walk & Discover and any other new products across the business (particularly Sales, Channels and Marketing) to boost their profile and maximise sales.
Ownership of P&L for Specialist products
Constantly review, improve, and refine tour itineraries and identify areas of improvement.
Market research - work closely with the Insight team to gain necessary consumer insights to assist in the growth of Specialist products.
Identify new tour product opportunities, research, and create new tour itineraries for Solo and Walk & Discover, in the most cost-effective manner and in line with customer expectations.
Cost tours as required to achieve margins set.
All hotel / agent contracts are agreed and updated in the relevant files and that contracts are produced for the hotel / agent, sent out and returned signed within an agreed timeline.
Travel Product Manager Escorted Tours and River Cruises Experience Required:
Extensive experience as a Product Manager, in the touring and cruising market is essential for this role.
Strategically minded with a good knowledge of the market and liaising with suppliers on quality and service in this field.
Strong negotiation skills and commercially minded.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Travel Product Manager Escorted Tours and River Cruises Salary and Benefits:
£40,000-£43,000 dependant on experience
