My client is a leading charitable organisation based in central London seeking an interim Financial Controller to bolster their finance team on an initial 12-months temporary basis with a strong opportunity to get extended.
The main responsibilities of the interim Financial Controller are:
- Managing the transactions team.
- To help improve the finance function and improve efficiency within the transactions team.
- Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the financial controls and Processes in place currently and where to improve.
My client is looking for:
- A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in working in the Charity is essential.
- Success in managing and developing a team.
- Experience in working with transactions teams and managing them on a daily basis.
My client can offer a flexible approach to working, with 2 days a week going into the office based in central London and the rest working remotely. There is also a strong opportunity for this role to get extended or go permanent.
