Salary: £23.62 per hour

Our client, a prominent organisation in the waste/recycling industry, is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Nights HGV Dustcart Driver to join their team. Responsibilities:
Safely drive a Class 2 Dustcart, in compliance with road traffic laws and codes of practise.
Deliver materials or equipment to various locations as required.
Keep highways and external areas free from litter and debris, utilising specialised equipment for weed removal and street cleaning.
Collect and remove waste, including bulky and heavy items as well as food waste and general waste collections.
Ensure safe containment and delivery of waste or recycled materials to designated disposal points.
Supervise and prioritise work for a small group of staff assigned to an allocated vehicle.
Undertake first-stage evidence gathering in relation to environmental crime and anti-social behaviour.
Assist other staff in meeting work requirements through training or guidance.
Proactively maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment across the borough.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Valid Class 2 Driver's Licence
CPC Card and Digitacho Card
Strong commitment to health and safety regulations
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Familiarity with waste collection procedures
Previous experience in class 2 driving but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Technologies:
Proficiency in operating associated machinery on specialist vehicles
