**Finance Manager
- Annual Salary: £45-50k
- Location: Hybrid (Minimum 2 day a week in the office)

Our client, a prestigious media firm based in Farringdon, Central London are looking for a Finance Manager who is well-versed in all aspects of financial management, ranging from simple accounting to broad management accounts. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the financial nuances that can drive a company's financial operations to sustainable growth and long-term success.
The company offer a fantastic working culture and a very flexible attitude to office based working. They have a 35 hour working week, generous holiday and offer the ability to work just 2 days a week in the office.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Process sales and purchase invoices, including expenses.
- Handle bank transactions and allocate them appropriately.
- Execute adjusting journals and understand debits and credits.
- Resolve debtor and supplier account queries efficiently.
- Process month-end transactions and complete balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliation, fixed asset register/depreciation, accrued income, and deferred income.
- Communicate effectively with wider teams.
- Maintain a well-organised and structured approach to work.
- Be hands-on, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Ability to process a complete set of management accounts from start to finish (desirable).
- Experience with VAT returns, forecasting, budgeting, line management, and dashboard reporting (can be taught if not already known).
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Cloud is ideal.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
