Our Lighting Manufacturer is looking for a Lighting Designer Engineer with experience in working within manufacturing to join their team within the London region
Hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work in collaboration with the sales team to provide support and guidance on project design ensuring meeting required customer deadlines; namely in product recommendations, lighting requirements, detailed design calculations
- To provide a full range of both internal and external lighting calculations by applying Relux or Dialux.
- To provide lighting control designs based on lighting schemes.
- To deliver lighting and controls layouts for projects through the application of AutoCAD.
- To accurately complete all relevant documents as and when required namely; take-offs, luminaire schedules, technical submittals, datasheets, BREEAM documents.
- To adhere to customer, industry, and legal standards when producing all lighting designs.
- Support sales team on specialist projects as and when required.
Key Requirements to be considered for this role
- Indoor lighting design experience
- Demonstrable experience in using Relux / Dialux and Auto CAD
- Qualification within a design-related or electrical engineering course
- LIA qualification
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to work in an organised manner that enables the achievement of projects within a required timescale.
