Automotive Prototype and Development Vehicle Technicians
ASL Technical are working closely with a global leading manufacture niche vehicle and we are seeking experienced and highly skilled Automotive Technicians to join their expanding team on a rolling contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a background as an automotive technician or mechanic. Due to the nature of the role, experience gained in either an automotive dealership or motorsport environment would be ideal. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for cars and a hands-on approach to take their skills to the next level and contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive sportscars.
Responsibilities:
- Support automotive prototype vehicle builds for development and testing use.
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical, electrical, and software systems for prototype vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure successful integration of systems into the vehicle.
Requirements:
- Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle repair or HND in Automotive or associated Engineering subject.
- 3+ years of experience in an automotive dealership or motorsport environment, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in automotive mechanics, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Contract Details:
- Contract duration: ongoing PAYE contract basis
- Hourly rate: £18.50+ per hour (experience dependant)
- Holiday paid in line with legislation and company policy (25 days pa)
