Enterprise PMO Analyst

The Role

The Enterprise PMO Analyst will support in the oversight, governance and management of the Enterprise project portfolio aligned to the overall business strategy and objectives. Working closely with the Senior Enterprise PMO Lead, they will support the identification, prioritisation and ongoing tracking of initiatives, ensuring they deliver to agreed budgets and business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with attention to detail, a drive for quality and have the ability and skills to build excellent collaborative working relationships. They will have a strong internal customer focus along with excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.

What you`ll be doing

  • Support in development of required organisational level portfolio analysis, insights and reporting.
  • Primary owner for PM software tool and main point of contact with software provider.
  • Configuration of software tool to provide efficient and effective portfolio prioritisation, management and reporting across all delivery approaches in the organisation.
  • Supporting in ongoing management of an organisational approach to demand management, resource planning and management and capacity planning.
  • Support portfolio prioritisation at an enterprise level.
  • Ownership of the EPMO Hub pages and support in content creation for these pages.
  • Support in coordination of the PM Network, knowledge sharing and training.
  • Continuous improvement of tools and templates to support the Change Framework
  • Support in the review of lessons learned across the portfolio, sharing insights, implementing actions to continuously improve the Change Framework and performance of our portfolio.
  • Work closely with Portfolio and PMO Leads to develop and maintain an accurate and aligned enterprise change portfolio view.
  • Responsible for portfolio-level risk and issue management
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the demand management, resource planning and management and capacity planning process. Providing reporting, analysis and insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain document control for all PMO tools and templates and ensure latest versions are available and shared.
  • Support in raising the bar on how we deliver our portfolio and changing the mindsets and behaviours to enable that.
  • Establish transparent and effective communication channels between the Enterprise PMO and the Functional/ Programme Portfolios and Programmes.
  • Gain thorough understanding of interdependencies between projects and their impact on the portfolio.
  • Responsible for development and ownership of Enterprise Portfolio dashboard and reporting tools.
  • Support in conducting regular project reviews and audits to assess adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and implement best practices and lessons learned from completed projects across the organisation.
  • Promote a culture that motivates and inspires excellent collective and individual performance within the Function to realise the Group strategy through effective portfolio delivery.
  • Support adoption of best practice aligned to the Enterprise PMO Centre of Excellence, the Change Framework and supporting toolkit.
  • Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business

What we`re looking for in you

  • Previous experience with PM tools such as Monday.com.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A confident individual who can build relationships and gain credibility with stakeholders, with the ability to respectfully challenge where required.
  • Previous experience working in a PMO start-up environment.
  • Excellent reporting and dashboard skills and experience.
  • Experience developing user-friendly materials, simplifying the complex for all users.
  • Experience of developing training materials and supporting in the delivery of training sessions.
  • Experience of Waterfall and Agile methodologies and project governance.
  • Experience of capacity and resource planning.
  • Experience of evaluating the do-ability of plans considering volume of change and supply /demand.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment.
