FP&A Lead (15-month contract) | High Growth Games Studio | London (Hybrid)
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a multi-award winning Mobiles Games studio in their search for a FP&A Lead on a 15 month fixed-term contract basis with potential for extension.
Backed by one of the largest Games studios in Europe, you'll be joining a well-funded scale-up that has released a number of globally successful games in recent years that have subsequently lead to consistent revenue growth.
Based out of their Central London office, you'll be expected in the office 2 times per week with additional flexibility where needed.
Reporting to the CFO this is a broad scoping role where you'll have full ownership of FP&A processes for the company alongside supporting with reporting, month end and other adhoc finance tasks where required.
The Role
- Prepare and review quarterly forecasts with Game Leads and Founders
- Business Partner Game Leads and Management by providing financial support and analysis as required
- Model Game revenue and margin scenarios with adjustable key assumptions for product and marketing improvements on an ad hoc basis
- Manage cost budgets and support the Marketing team with analysis on project spend
- Help prepare the monthly cash forecast for the business
- Support Business Partners by generating and reviewing new contracts and renewals with third parties
- Own music reporting for two games, sending quarterly reports to music Partners and approve payments for music invoices
- Prepare quarterly commission reporting for games
- Support the Finance team in preparing Board slides and slides for Company presentations
- Prepare monthly journals and reconciliations for revenue
- Undertake the monthly calculations for deferred revenue reporting
- Assist with the delivery of monthly group reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet) to parent company
- General finance support as required including cash management, coordination of NDAs and agreements with contractors, cost allocation reviews and other month end tasks as required.
What We Need to See (Essential Skills):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, AAT)
- Post qualified experience in FP&A
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel and Google sheets
What We'd Like To See (Bonus Skills):
- Experience in Gaming or Software
- Experience using NetSuite
