Finance Supervisor

A Finance Supervisor is needed to lead a team within the Accounting & Finance Department of our industrial/ manufacturing sector client. This role is perfect for an individual with a background in managing financial operations and a keen eye for detail.

Description

The Roles & Responsibilities -

  • Supervise Sales and Purchase ledgers.
  • Assist with monthly management accounts, ensuring accruals and cut-offs are accurate.
  • Utilise Sage 50 Accounts for general bookkeeping.
  • Conduct management reporting and analysis, including P&L.
  • Support with data cleanse and ERP implementation.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations and month/year-end reconciliations.
  • Generate invoices and payment schedules.
  • Monitor and manage accounting software, including producing invoice reminders and chasing overdue payments
  • Supervise the Accounts Payable Team, ensuring everyone understands their role and is equipped to perform their financial responsible to deadline.
  • Delegate tasks to the administrative team.

Profile

A successful Finance Supervisor should have:

  • A solid educational background in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
