Job Title: Senior HR Consultant - Recruitment
Location: NG23NG, Nottingham, UK (Hybrid Role)
Duration: 3 months contract with possible extension
Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role, with requirement to attend the office on average once a week. Hours are 37/week, Mon - Friday.
Job Description :
- To provide expertise and support with recruitment and talent acquisition activities within directorates and across the council, including all elements of strategic resourcing, employability initiatives and retention and reward strategies.
- To proactively work to attract, source and recruit to a range of executive and hard to fill roles using a range of different and innovative approaches and tools to attract and recruit appropriate candidates.
- To support and deliver on a range of corporate talent acquisition and resourcing activity as described below.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- An in depth understanding of current good practice in modern resourcing techniques including knowledge and experience of direct sourcing platforms, social media and other recruiting tools
- Experience of developing outcome focussed business solutions that meet business needs in respect of resourcing and talent acquisition, whilst ensuring the Council's reputation is upheld
- Previous experience of recruiting for talent across different functions/sectors including handling high priority and challenging resourcing requirements
- Ability to undertake research activities, including experience of analysing complex information and benchmarking, to make, develop and deliver improvements to the service.
- A sound understanding of employment law and HR/OD best practice in respect of recruitment, within a large and complex organisation
- Ability to lead on the development of HR policy and practice
- Experience of analysing and collating complex information
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely with verbal and written form.
