Powder Coater required to join a manufacturing company based in the Tipton area. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join their production team. The Powder Coater will be responsible for applying powder coating to wheels and ensuring a consistent, durable finish that meets the company's quality standards. This role requires close attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with other production team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
**Powder Coater
Position Overview
- Prepare wheels for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them in the correct positions.
- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens.
- Apply powder coating to wheels, ensuring an even, high-quality finish according to company specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality control, identifying any defects or inconsistencies and making necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper ventilation in the coating area.
- Collaborate with other production staff to ensure timely completion of daily work orders.
- Track production outputs and report any equipment malfunctions or production delays to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

- Must live within a commutable distance of Tipton
- Must have previous experience working within a Powder Coating position
- Experience working in a wheel manufacturing or automotive parts production environment is very advantages

Position Remuneration
- Full time - Permanent position
- Monday to Friday - 07:30am to 16:30pm (Friday finish at 14:00pm)
