Our client is a highly progressive, industry-leading manufacturing company based in Lisburn and is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their established team. Our client is a market leader in their field and is an innovative business.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include general accounting, internal control, month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation, and financial reporting.
- Assume a key role in the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial results are reported according to the corporate closing calendar.
- Provide intercompany accounting and reconciliation support (AR, AP, Intercompany Loan Statement).
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal and external enquiries.
- Performing accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Drive process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally, with related post-qualification professional experience. You will demonstrate experience in accounting and financial systems and experience of preparing UK statutory accounts with a strong understanding of UK GAAP. You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and a high level of initiative, motivation, and excellent time management.
