that are experiencing a significant increase in orders. Our client is looking to recruit a

Quality Manager

to develop their

quality management systems

to ensure all

products manufactured

are

safe, legal

and

fulfil quality expectations.

Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm (40 or 45 hours per week option)

Salary £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the factory in the delivery of successful audits, including third party, customer and BRCGS.
  • Ensure the quality management system is fully implemented throughout the factory.
  • Monitor and improve factory standards in regard to GMP and Hygiene.
  • Improve and update procedures including legislation, BRCGS requirements and codes of practice.
  • Investigate to root cause, with appropriate feedback and documentation.
  • Implement the Food Safety/Quality Culture Plan within the factory.
  • Improve site hygiene through training, cleaning methods, post cleaning inspections and sign offs.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Involvement in site food safety audits
  • Experienced in people management or supervision within manufacturing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant food industry regulations and standards e.g. HACCP and BRC.
