  • Hours: 8am – 5:00pm, 1-hour lunch
  • Holiday: 20 days, increasing to 23 after one year's service
  • Salary: Competitive, with an uncapped commission scheme

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our sales team. The role involves developing both existing and new business, with a focus on building a loyal, long-term trade customer base. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with handling a wide range of customer interactions, from enquiries and queries to providing exceptional customer service.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Handle incoming calls and convert them into sales.
  • Prepare quotations and follow through with projects all the way to the order stage.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the website and increase overall turnover.
  • Focus on developing existing customers and generating new leads.
  • Engage in cold calling when potential opportunities are identified.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of customers, including end-users, tradespeople, builders, and installers.
  • Consult with customers to ensure they are purchasing the correct products for their needs.
  • Address technical queries as needed.
  • Participate in online or in-person meetings if required.
  • Monitor competitors and provide feedback to management.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service, dealing with returns or delivery issues effectively.
  • Generate enquiries through social media platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Confident telephone manner and proficient use of a PC.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Self-motivated with an energetic personality.
  • Experience within the trade is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office package, particularly Outlook and Excel.
