Hays Education is looking for temporary Science Technicians to work in our schools in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You would be responsible for providing general technician support to the science department, including preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment, setting up and clearing experiments, and assisting teachers and students with practical work. We are looking for people who have experience of working as a Science Technician, ideally within schools, but other transferrable experience would also be considered. The normal working hours would be 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday. I am looking for candidates who are looking for roles for September 2024.
Requirements:
- Strong background in science
- Excellent organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting would be advantageous but not essential.
