Salary: from £45,000 plus excellent benefits package
Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid working approach
Working hours: Monday - Friday
12 Month Fixed Term Contract

An exciting opportunity to join the Services department of Scania Great Britain as Finance Analyst. You will directly support our Senior Finance Business Partner, playing a pivotal role within the team, using your inquisitive nature to analyse budgets and forecasts, highlight trends, and interpret the story behind the data.
You will work with excellent attention to detail, completing project work, monitoring financial performance, improving processes, reporting, and forecasting. Experience within the finance sector and collaborating with cross-functional departments and internal stakeholders will prove beneficial.

You will:

  • Analyse & Report - use your inquisitive nature to analyse performance and interpret the story behind the data.
  • Monitor Financial Performance - generate projections for future contract profitability, highlight when performance is deviating and conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Develop Internal Processes & Controls - monitor policy and procedure compliance, establish internal standards and seek continuous improvement.
  • Work Cross Functionally - seek to understand and build relationships with stakeholders throughout the business, to improve analyses and accounting accuracy.

  • A Confident Excel User - able to utilise excel and learn new platforms, enabling you to efficiently support the business.
